Zoom test: bringing back ships "over the horizon" with a P900

Used a Nikon P900 to zoom in on ships that had supposedly gone "over the horizon." Every single time, the full ship came back into view. If it had gone over a physical curve, no amount of zoom would bring it back. This is easy to test yourself if you live near the coast.
